Here are a few other supplies that consist of both programs and online accounts that help to build a website good website. These are not quite as important as a hosting company, an html editor, or a paint program; however, they are still very important. Luckily many of them are either free or could already be installed on your computer. Here is a list of these programs and/or accounts to make getting started on your website that much easier.
Norton Antivirus: Up to date antivirus software is a must for any computer system. Norton has the best security system in the industry. If your computer doesn't have any antivirus software, or the current antivirus software is out of date, get it. It really is worth the small amount of money you would have to pay and the heartache it can save. |

A spell checker is very important for even the best of spellers. Microsoft Word has a spell checker built into the software. If you don't have Microsoft Word, you may want to find another way to do a spell check on all of the content created. Or you can purchase Microsoft Word. |

Adobe Reader: Everyone should have this free program. It is kind of a standard now days. This will allow you to read PDF documents. And it is free. |

Icon Editor: If you want to have a favicon (the little picture next to your domain name in the address bar of your browser) then you will need an Icon Editor. You can use just about any free one that can be found at CNET. (Click on the Downloads Tab at the top of the page.) |
